Grasscloth is a pretty popular type of wallpaper that comes in an endless amount of shades and patterns. People love it because of its natural look and intriguing texture. Also, since it isn't a regular flat paper, it gives great dimensions to your room.
This wallpaper looks great anywhere but the most common places people hang grasscloth is in the living room, office, or bedrooms. More recently they have been going on the ceiling! There are a few things to consider before you decide you want to put up this type wallpaper, so here are a few tips.
1. Handle with care! Grasscloth is delicate so make sure you're putting it in a place where it won't be easily damaged.

2. This paper is not recommended for use in bathrooms with showers or that are used frequently. However, they are used often in small powder baths. It is made of natural fibers and does not mix well with water or moisture of any kind.
- Faux grasscloth and vinyl are good alternatives that work well in bathrooms and have a similar look. (My favorite vinyl grasscloth or raffia is from Thibaut. You can barely tell the difference when compared to the real thing!)

3. When you put it up there will be visible seams, but no worries, that's the beauty of this unique wallpaper.
