Thibaut has yet again come out with a beautiful collection filled with uniquely patterned wallpapers and fabrics. While majority of the prints are bright, colorful and perfect for spring, they did cater to some of us that prefer to stick with neutral color palettes. Everyone knows spring is all about bright colors. We've started a color inspiration series to give you ideas on how to decorate with these fun shades, and this week we're loving the color green. Check out a few ways to incorporate this fun color into your home!
Grasscloth is a pretty popular type of wallpaper that comes in an endless amount of shades and patterns. People love it because of its natural look and intriguing texture. Also, since it isn't a regular flat paper, it gives great dimensions to your room.
This wallpaper looks great anywhere but the most common places people hang grasscloth is in the living room, office, or bedrooms. More recently they have been going on the ceiling! There are a few things to consider before you decide you want to put up this type wallpaper, so here are a few tips.
1. Handle with care! Grasscloth is delicate so make sure you're putting it in a place where it won't be easily damaged.
2. This paper is not recommended for use in bathrooms with showers or that are used frequently. However, they are used often in small powder baths. It is made of natural fibers and does not mix well with water or moisture of any kind.
Faux grasscloth and vinyl are good alternatives that work well in bathrooms and have a similar look. (My favorite vinyl grasscloth or raffia is from Thibaut. You can barely tell the difference when compared to the real thing!)
Spring is here and before we know it summer will be approaching very soon. 2016 is already flying by and we're ready for the warm weather and beachy vibes. If you're one to redecorate for the spring/summer season then you'll love these nautical and beach house themed interiors.
Spring is near which means it's time to put away the dark colors and bring out the pastels and bright shades. We're sure you're all over this dreadful weather as much as we are, so what better way to prepare for this change than to re-decorate your home? Here are a few ways to brighten up your decor.
Pillows: A few weeks ago it was all about pillows and how they can transform your space. You most likely aren't going out and buying new furniture for the season, so a great way to change up your color scheme is with pillows.
Wallpaper:Of course we had to include wallpapers. Although you probably won't be changing your wallpapers with the seasons, here are some that are inspired by spring just in case you happen to be looking.
